In this 2.5 hour course you will make 5 pendants and will be instructed on how to fuse the wire hanging supports. Each pendant is approximately 7 cm deep and 5 cm wide. Each pendant can be decorated to your design using the autumnal colour pallet of glass provided.

Using a binder, all of our glass powders can be converted into a plasticine like paste that can be easily sculpted into 3-D shapes. Students can use their fingers and easy grip tools to shape the paste into flowers, fairies and a range of other shapes.

The tutor will teach you how to use a range of glass paints to make decorative bottle lamps. The paints are applied to a bottle supplied (but feel free to bring your own—but empty please!) and then baked in an oven for 20 minutes making the paint dishwash safe.

This fun and simple course will teach you how to cut glass and trim coloured glass to form a simple bowl formed from a series of glass strips, clocks and flowers.

Glass powder is added to a mould and water added to the dry powder. The mould is then put into the freezer. You then pop out the glass "'ice" cube and put it into the kiln to fire. A number of beautiful natural effects can be achieved.

Students will learn how to take impressions of a range of paperweight forms such as star fish, heart, sea horse, etc. You will then build up the coloured glass in a flower pot, put the item into a kiln and return to collect the paper weight and remove the sprue.

These simple projects are ideal for people with poor hand mobility (arthritis etc). Coloured powder is simply sifted onto the base sheet, thus building up layers of colour to give a range of effects. Three projects are available: Sunset, coastal view and 4 seasons tree.
